A Day at Henry Ford

Grandpa, Grandma, & Jeremy came to spend my birthday weekend with me. On Friday, we enjoyed the day at the Henry Ford Museum. I LOVED riding around in my stroller while watching the people and lights.

check out my blog list

Here you will find all the blogs that I follow on a daily basis. I really have loved blogging and have a lot of fun reading others blogs too! My blog list is in order by those who have updated most recently. Always at the top of my list is Kristi's blog: "Run the Earth, Watch the Sky"...because she writes at least once a day if not more. Kirsty's blog has great devotionals from the Old Testament, she shares Biblical thoughts on current events, and lots of practical day-to-day advice for moms and homeschoolers. I am always learning something from her! If you go to her blog before Saturday and become a follower you will be entered for a free giveaway for Beth Moores devotional book: "John, 90 Days with the Beloved Disciple". Check out Kristy's blog and the others on my list that are great for moms, cooks, and scapbookers. Happy Blogging!! :)

It's my first birthday!!

Well it was kind of a bitter sweet day for Mommy...she says she can't believe how fast the year went..but we did have a great day together. After my morning nap we went to church to pick Daddy up and they took me to McDonalds for lunch. I brought my own chicken and rice soup to eat...but for dessert I got to share an ice cream cone with Mommy. Mommy was kinda bummed that they don't make baby cones any more...but it worked out okay because then she got some ice cream too. This wasn't the first time that I've had ice cream...but it was the first time that mommy let me have more than just a "taste" she let me have as many licks as I wanted...mmmm!

Mmmmmm.....

now that's a little cold...

It was fun to get to see Daddy at lunch time! Mom and Dad wanted a picture...but I guess I was still licking my lips.

After lunch Mommy and I did some running around to pick up some more things for my party on Saturday.

Daddy came home from work a little early today. We played some more, had a dinner, and then went to Jeff and Ambers house for dessert. I had fun taking all of Jeffs DVD's off the shelf...now he gets to re-alphabatize them...until the next time I come over :o)

It was good day!
Can't wait to see my family and little baby friends on Saturday for my cupcake birthday party!

A weekend with my friend Luke

I had so much fun playing with my friend Luke this weekend. He came to visit me all the way from Ohio. His mommy, Teri, spent most of the at a creative memories conference...so we got lots of time to play with Luke. I wonder if I will have as much energy as he does when I'm two!

Building with blocks together
Lukes cool tower
He even let me help
working together

but he didn't want me to knock it down!
playing with gears
and watching our work of art spin around

Luke called Daddy "the daddy" until he could remember his name. Once he learned his name he called him "Set"...so cute! They had fun playing together!

crazy Luke!
We love to play...but our favorite thing to do is read books! We read lots and lots of them. This is "Rainbow Fish" and was a favorite of the weekend

My friend Luke (Mommy loves how I'm leaning on his leg here)
Look at that smile...what a cutie!!!
HUGS!!! Or should we say squeezes?!
Aww...so sweet!
Now here's a good picture!!

This past week we had our playdate at the Ohly house. Mommy and I were amazed that the Ohly girls are walking already...at only 10 months! We had fun watching them "take steps". We enjoyed a yummy lunch of potato soup and fresh veggies....and lots of playtime.

While Addison took her nap..I got to use her chair and Amelia and I hade melon together

Olivia was a balerina

Isn't she beautiful?!
