Change for Changed Hearts

If you remember, Hannah has been working on collecting change (and dollars) for her missionary bank all summer. We had a fun time putting together her bank back in June and tried to remember to put change and dollars in it when someone had something to share with Hannah. Last night, we had our change for changed hearts party. Hannah and I counted, separated, and rolled her coins. Then with our other friends celebrated earning over $138.00 to send to our missionaries. We enjoyed ice cream sundaes and fellowship together!
This was a great way to teach Hannah about giving to others! I was really impressed with how well she was able to sort the money into piles and she rolled the coins all by herself!
the total for this little two year old came to $20.52
good work Hannah!

A weekend with Missionary friends :)

We had a wonderful weekend visiting with our friends Cliff & Ali and their sweet children Caleb and Hope. Seth and I both worked with Ali during our days at Skyview Ranch. It's always great to get together with friend that we served with and pick up right where we left off. It's neat to see how the Lord used Skyview to put a love for ministry in our hearts.
Our home was very busy with 3 little ones running around...but it was so much fun to watch them play together! We enjoyed many hours of good conversation and encouragement. It was great to have them in our church on Sunday to share their ministry. Cliff and Ali will are raising support to plant churches in England and will be specifically working with teens there. We can't wait to see how God will use their family!

On Saturday, England played the US in the World Cup. The boys sported their England shirts for the occasion.
It's neat that Ali and I are both expecting new additions to arrive this fall. Our due dates are only a few weeks apart...Ali is due at the beginning of October. We enjoyed sharing stories/experiences about our pregnancies and look forward to seeing each other again in October after our babies are born. We are both having little boys...yay!
I just have a thing for little ones in their jammies...here's a picture from our lazy Monday morning...the kids enjoyed playing together one last time before they headed for home.
Friends!! The next time they are all together...there will be 5!
We love you guys!!

My Missionary Bank

Last week we had a family missionary night at church. We all brought our own jars and had fun decorating them. For a summer project, we are going to be collecting "change to change hearts". We are excited to save money to give to our missionaries. I had fun decorating my jar with Mommy and Daddy and look forward to filling it with change to help support the work of our missionaries!
