Potty Training

...another big part of our summer.  I was unsure about if I wanted to start this during the summer of once Sissy went to school in the fall.  As it usually ends up working with potty training, Isaac decided for me.  He had no interest one day...and the next week he was in underwear (he picked Mickey Mouse).  We still aren't there, but I think some of that has to do with the busy schedule of summer time.  He sure is becoming a big boy fast, though!

celebrating the small victories

The last obstacle to hopefully overcome before baby brother comes is potty training. We are working hard. Here are some small victories to celebrate from today:
  • only one accident

  • she told me twice that she had to go!

  • we walked to the ice cream shop, ate ice cream, and walked home...when we got home she was still dry!

hoping and praying for an even better day tomorrow! Have any great potty training tips...I'm all ears!

Let the potty adventure begin

YEAH!! Today marks the beginning of the potty training adventure. As I mentioned earlier, Hannah did poop in the potty while we were on vacation. This morning, she pooped again. I finally got the potty chair that I spotted on craigslist a few days ago (don't worry it was brand new :)) this evening. Hannah was very excited about it. She sat right down on it at the lady's house! When we got home it was time for bed, took her clothes off, set her down, she made a funny "pushing" face, and wouldn't you know?! She went potty!! High fives all the way around! Yeah Hannah!! :)
