4th of July

We had a wonderful 4th of July..great day with family hanging out, watching the parade, playing games and lighting sparklers

Fireworks!

We enjoyed watching fireworks with Aunt Beth, Ethan, Nana, and Pop this year. It was kinda a last minute decision...love impromptu's.  We  gave the kids a bath and put them in their 4th of July jammies from Grandma and headed out for a fun filled summer night.  

Beth and Ethan had a Mommy/son date.

 This boy just loves life.  It's neat to see how excited he gets...don't you just love the look of amazement on his face as the first fireworks were set off?  

 Isaac did watch the fireworks...but it was from behind his blankie.  He didn't cry or complain...but was a tad bit nervous.  His blankie helped.  

Mothers Day

This was the first Mothers Day in several years that I got to see my mom...what a treat it was.  My family came to church with us that morning.  It was so nice to be able to worship with them and then share lunch and the afternoon together.  Seth grilled pork loin..it was a delicious lunch!  

 What a blessing to be with my family  

 and my precious children who call me "mom".  I love them so much and thank God for the opportunity to be their mom.  I pray that I will honor Him as together with Seth, we bring them up.  May they come to know Jesus as their Savior and serve Him with their lives.  

Memorial Day with Nana, Pop, and Uncle Jay

We spent Memorial Day weekend at Beulah Beach for their benefit auction.  It was nice to spend time together, see the camp, and support the ministry there through the auction.   

Hannah was so excited about the water.  She wanted to go down to the beach right away.  We had dinner on the beach Friday night.  Uncle Jay taught Hannah how to skip rocks...I think she would have been happy skip rocks for hours.

 Hannah had her eye set on this hello kitty scooter.  There were 2 that went up for auction. The first one went for more than we could pay...but Daddy won the second one for her.  They were both SO excited!

 The camp opened a new pool over the weekend and it warmed up just enough to swim, although the water was still pretty cold.  Hannah didn't care...she enjoyed the first swim of the summer!  

 Isaac on the other hand was happy to just sit and watch.  He did put his feet in for a while, but this is where he spent most of the time :)  

St. Patty's Day

 Still posting pics from March...boy, am I behind. Anyway, we got to spend St. Patty's Day with some other Irish folk :)  We had Corned Beef & Cabbage, Irish Soda Bread, and Green Dessert...but best of all wonderful company.  It was little Cal's first St. Patty's Day...isn't he so cute?!   

Happy New Year 2012

I'm so, so behind in blogging...hopefully, I can do a quick catch up and get things up to date before too long.  These pics are from New Years Eve...we had a great time ringing in the New Year at 12:00 NOON with the kids.  The local nature center hosted a New Years Eve party for the kids and it was so much fun!
