Fathers Day

Fathers Day with the best Daddy these kids could ask for!

Feeding the Birds

This made for such a fun family day!  We enjoyed the animals at a nearby metropark. Hannah and Isaac loved watching this snake...he slithered all over his cage while we were there.  

 then we went outside...black sunflower seed in hand and feed the birds.  

 Seth was skeptical...so of course, they went to him first. 

 It was such a fun experience for all of us!  

 a chickadee came close to eating from Isaac's hand...but poor Isaac couldn't help but flinch when a bird got close.  He still enjoyed being close to them though.   

 After lots of patience and persistence, Hannah was able to feed a cardinal right out of her hand.  This guy certainly became our friend!  She was patient and still and he came right too her.  I just love this picture!!  

 Another great day enjoying the beauty of God's creation!!  

Fun with Inflatables

We love our family day's!  On this particular day we played mini golf and on inflatables.  I almost didn't post these pics (I'm trying to zoom through and catch up)...but this was the kids first time mini golfing (when it wasn't a youth activity) and I love Isaac esp on the inflatables.  Enjoy  

Hannah loved golfing and this was the perfect place to learn and try because it wasn't an additional charge....she could shoot around all she wanted to.    

 Isaac is by nature a little bit nervous to try new things.  We didn't know if he would do the inflatables or not.  But we were super proud of how brave he was.  By the end he was going down the huge slide on his belly, face first...to cute!  

Family Game Night

We love games!  Monday nights that we are home usually end up being a game night.  We sure are enjoying the age of our kids and making memories with them!

Children's Museum Fun!

The children's museum offers free admission on the 1st Monday of the month.  This made for a fun family day for our family last month.  The place was packed...but we still had a really good time. 

As we were driving through downtown, we showed the kids the city bus that my dad has rode to work for years.  It was neat to get to the museum and see a mini model of the same bus.  The kids were excited to take a picture to show to Pop.

Friday night: Pizza & Movie Night

We love traditions!  This is one of our favorites...we love Friday night family movie night!  Every Friday  we make homemade pizza together.  Then sit down after a busy week and enjoy a movie.  These pics are from our first movie night in our new house.

Now that reminds me...I better get the pizza dough going.  Tonight is homemade pizza and Charlotte's Web! 

Children's Concert at the Orchestra

We were able to get tickets to a children's concert at the orchestra...thanks to a friends from church.  The kids LOVED the music, and it made for such a fun family day.

The band was made up of a piano, bass, alto sax and drums.  Thanks for the great time, Elaine...we had so much fun!! 

Just some more family fun!

Another family fun day in a local town. They put on a really neat day...fishing, we watched a sheep dog herd sheep, had free popcorn, hotdogs, and ice cream sandwiches, and enjoyed some time with friends.
