A Day at the Children's Museum

In June, we took our largest group ever up to Lake Ann Camp.  It was great to spend time with the kids and see them experience camp and be able to share in that experience with them.  It was also very nice to spend some much needed time together as a family.  The week was cold and rainy, so a few times we escaped and found some things for the kids to do.  One of the days we went to the Children's Museum in Traverse City.  It was a very small museum...but made for a great escape on a rainy day.  

 They had a great little sensory play area for the babies...Isaac loved exploring.

 Hannah's favorite part was the water table.  She moved the boats all over and played and played.

The Psalms

I have been loving the Psalms lately...

Here are some verses that have brought comfort and encouragement to my heart this week:

Psalm 145

v.5 On the glorious splendor of your majesty, and on your works, I will meditate.

v.8 The Lord is gracious and merciful slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love.

v.9 The Lord is good to all and His mercy is over all that he has made.

v.14 The Lord upholds all who are falling and raises up all who are bowed down.

v.16 You open your hand, you satisfy the desire of every living thing.

v.18 The Lord is near to all who call on Him, to all who call on Him in truth. (love this promise)

v. 21 My mouth will speak the praises of the Lord, and let all flesh bless his holy name forever and ever.

Psalm 124

v. 8 our help is in the name of the Lord who made heaven and earth.

Psalm 125

v.2 As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the Lord surrounds his people.

Just some more family fun!

Another family fun day in a local town. They put on a really neat day...fishing, we watched a sheep dog herd sheep, had free popcorn, hotdogs, and ice cream sandwiches, and enjoyed some time with friends.

She's Not ALL Girlie Girl

50's All Daughters Diner

We had a great time dressing up for the 50's (or at least doing our best) and enjoying time with the ladies of our church. Hannah loved calling her pants "pedal pushers" and still does when she wears that outfit. So blessed to have my little girl!

Forget sitting and playing in the exersaucer (like his sissy) he's rather climb under it. The boy wants his freedom and loves to crawl under things. He crawls under his exersaucer, under the coffee table, dining room table, it's especially fun now if he can find something to crawl over.
