The AWANA fun fair

Last Wed. was the AWANA fun fair. A time for the kids to play fun carnival games, spend their AWANA bucks and just celebrate another year. This year the theme was Around the World. Hannah and I got to run the Ireland game...how appropriate. The kids had to throw gold and silver coins into the pot at the end of the rainbow. Hannah did a great job helping. She handed the kids thier coins when they came to play. When no one was there, Hannah had fun putting the coins in and out of the pots.
Miss Lynn let Hannah go "fishing" for a prize at her station

Me & My Shades

Another one of my favorite things to do is wear my sunglasses. As soon I put them on I always run over to the mirror to see what I look like. I get a huge smile on my face because I look SO silly.
Then I play peek-a-boo with myself. I pull them off my eyes and say "BOO"

Uncle Adam & Aunt Jill's wedding day

Uncle Adam and Aunt Jill got married on May 16th (we're just now getting caught up on the blogging) I got to be their flower girl and walked down the aisle perfectly! Aunt Jill had the lady at the piano play "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" as I walked...I thought that was pretty neat. Mom didnt' really have a chance to cry because she was waiting for me at the front of the church...AND trying to tape me walk....I hear Daddy might have had a tear or two though. Mom forgot about not turning her camera when she takes a video AGAIN...and not at a very good time either. Soo...you'll have to turn your head sideways to watch me. Josh said that he would try to help Mommy fix it. Hopefully the man videotaping at the wedding got a better video! :)

We don't want to steal Uncle Adam and Aunt Jills thunder...so no pictures of them until they post thiers first. But here are some of the pics from the day. Didn't I look so cute?!
Me and my Grandma!

This one (above) is mommy's favorite picture of me from the whole day
I had so much fun playing with balloons at the reception.
Me and my new friend Clark. Daddy & Mommy say it would be okay if I marry him. Isn't he handsome?

My first kiss...
Mommy & me after a long day...but we are both still smiling. Congrats Adam & Jill! We are praying for you as you begin your lives together!

The Rehersal

We left Richfield Friday morning and arrived in PA at lunch time. Grandma watched Hannah while Seth and I scooted off for lunch. We were able to enjoy some time of fellowship with Fred, Hannah and thier little Clark, Cody & Erica, and the bride and groom. It was great to all get to spend time together before the wedding.
The rehersal started at 4pm. Hannah did a great job walking down the aisle....we were hoping and praying that she would do the same thing come the big day.
Mom Finnegan made the rehersal dinner...and did a great job! She had lots of help from Nana, Papa, Aunt Brenda & Uncle Ron...they were all GREAT!

A trip to Richfield Woods

On our way to PA for Adam and Jill's wedding we were able to stop by at Grandpa and Grandma Roth's house. It worked out perfectly! We were able to celebrate Grandma's birthday with her (on the actual day) and it saved us from a 7.5 hour trip! When we got there on Thursday we talked for a little, and of course I loved playing with the puppies, but then we decided to go for a walk at the park. I got to visit the park that my Mommy used to play at when she was little...she says it's changed a lot since then though.
Here I am having a ball swinging with Grandma!
Wheee!!!

There are butterflies in my tummy!!
My first time down a big slide...I LOVED it!

Empty then full, then empty again

One of my new favorite things to do is move objects from one place to another. Here, I was at Aunt Beth's house playing with her cool blocks. It was fun to play with just the blocks for a while, but then I decided to get creative. I moved them one by one to the drawer in her kitchen. Then I decided to empty that drawer and moved them one by one to another drawer, and then moved them all again to a pot in the cabinet. I had tons of fun! Thanks Aunt Beth for letting me play with your cool blocks (and with your pots and pans too!) Oh...and did I mention...I'm SO SO SO excited for my cousin to come in October (Mommy is really hoping that he/she will come on her bday)! Hurry up little baby...I can't wait for you to come out and play!!

Mothers Day

I had a wonderful Mother's Day. Of course, I thank the Lord for my Mom, and for my Mother-in-law too. He has been so good to me. It's hard to believe that now I'm a mother myself, and I sure am enjoying the huge blessings that come along with mothering.
Hannah greeted me in the morning (don't you love the morning hair!) with this box in hand. Inside were a beautiful pair of diamond earrings. I lost one from my last pair...so I was so glad to have a new pair.

Our second mothers day together

New Friends

Last week, Mrs. Frohreip had Mommy and I over to play with some of her friends. I met Ethan and his Mommy along with Luke, Ben, Matthew, and their Mommy. It was different playing with boys...because I'm so used to playgroup with all my girl friends, but we sure had fun! We played with trains, cars, duplos, and on the rocking horse (my favorite!) Here's a pic of Matthew and I. :)

Playing outside

We are SO glad for the warmer weather! Mommy and I LOVE that we can play outside. Here are some shots from one of the beautiful spring days last week.
