A Day at the Park

This summer, our MOPS group will be going to the park every Tuesday morning. Last Tuesday was our first time, and Hannah had so much fun! We were at Claude Allison, which is the park at the end of our street, so it was nice to just be a stroller ride away. Hannah enjoyed the swing for a long time. I enjoyed getting to know some of the other moms better, sipping my coffee, and the beautiful spring day that God gave us.

Hannah got to play on the slides too...which is a fairly new thing for her. She got a lot more independence this time, and did great. She went down the bumpy slide numerous times (I got great exercise putting her back up to the top over and over again). Then she moved to the racing slides. Her new buddy Ezra came over and they enjoyed racing together. Ezra really likes Hannah and was so patient with her. I would count 1,2,3 and Ezra would go but Hannah wouldn't. He decided that he would play fair and just take off when she decided she wanted to go...he is so good with her! She gave him hugs, kisses, honked his nose, and played with his hat. Such a fun day at the park!

Mornings with Daddy

One of our favorite times of the day is the morning. We all enjoy our little bit of family time in the morning before Daddy heads off to church. I wake up and have some milk. Then Mommy gets me dressed and we enjoy breakfast with Daddy. Alot of times he plays with me or reads me books before he goes to work. I'm so thankful for a Daddy that loves me so much!

My new favorite thing is to pour water onto myself with the pelican. Mom and Dad us it to rinse the soap out of my hair and I think that's pretty fun too. Thanks to Mrs. Ingland, Melanie and Jennifer for the great gift!

Happy Birthday Seth

As you can see...I'm still getting caught up. Seth's birthday was last Sunday...we had a really nice day together. We went to church in the morning of course :) As Seth got up to welcome everyone and give announcements, the screens started flashing "Happy Birthday Seth" and everyone broke into song. He was quite surprise and embarrassed...it was kinda cute :) After church, we came home and Hannah took her nap. When she got up we quick walked up to see the Memorial Day parade. Hannah enjoyed watching, and liked the music the best. I really liked the fifes and drums. They reminded me of my marching Minutemen days. Our uniforms actually looked very similar to these.

I love this picture of my baby. Yes..that is a sucker...and no I won't do that again for a long time. I had to take it away when it got small enough that it could fall off the stick...she really didn't like that part...so we won't be having suckers for a while, but I do love the picture.

At home, we enjoyed played outside with Hannah. She had fun playing with tennis balls: taking them out of the can and then putting them back in. We counted 1,2,3 and before long she was trying to do it too. A few times she said 2...3! But of course when I tried to get it on video she said 3...2!

Seth chose to go to Chili's for dinner...YUM, and then we came home for cake and ice cream. Happy Birthday Seth Michael!

A weekend with Grandma and Papa Finnegan

I got to see both sets of grandparents quite a bit this month...that was such a blessing. This past weekend, we went to Celina to visit the Finnegans. We left early Friday morning, and I suprised Grandma when I walked in the kitchen at 9am.

We went to some garage sales and then out to dinner at KFC. At the garage sales, Grandma and Papa bought me some new toys...I LOVE my new zoo! Mommy got me some clothes for summer and fall that are super cute! Then Uncle Cody and Auntie Erica came to spend time with us...they spent the night too! We celebrated Daddy's birthday with cake and gifts. It was nice to be with family!

On Saturday, Grandma went to work for a little bit in the morning and we just stayed in and enjoyed playing with my new toys. I had fun walking around outside barefoot and meeting the neighbors. We took pics in Grandma's beautiful garden too.

Papa thinks it's funny to put tape on my nose...I think it's pretty funny too!

This weekend I did lots of big girl things too. Auntie Erica taught me how to drink out of a straw, Uncle Cody started teaching me how to jump-but I still have to work on that, and I fed myself melon using a baby fork....Mom and Dad say I'm getting to be such a BIG girl!

Planting Flowers with Mommy

After Grandma and Grandpa left, we still had a few pots of flowers to plant. Mommy and I had fun doing this job together. I love to mimic Mommy and be her little helper!

Memorial Day Weekend

As you can see we are catching up on our blogging...still lots to share. :)

For Memorial Day weekend; Grandpa & Grandma Roth came to visit along with Uncle Jeremy. We had such a great time together.

On Friday we went to Greenfield Village (it was the last weekend before our membership ran out...so we had to go! ) It turned out to be a beautiful day, and we really enjoyed getting to walk around the village.

I loved watching the foutain! Grandpa and Daddy both gave me pennies to throw into the water. I loved it! I held onto them for a minute trying to decide if I should let go...but I had fun watching them plop into the water.

We spent most of the day enjoying the beautiful weather outside, but we did make it into the museum to see the guitars and cars display. Mom thought it was cool to see Colbie Caliets guitar. There were lots of other cars & guitars that belonged to various other singers...it was pretty neat.

On Saturday, we stayed at home and Grandpa & Grandma helped Mommy in the yard. They got lots of weeding done and multched all the flowerbeds. Mommy was really greatful for all the help, and now the yard looks beautiful!

Sunday was church, it was fun to have our family there with us, and they even got to hear Daddy preach. Then we went to our small group and enjoyed the time of fellowship there.

Monday we stayed hung out at home. It was another beautiful day, so I got to play outside with my Grandpa & Grandma. I showed them how I love to ride my "bike" up and down the sidewalk. We also went for a walk all the way down my street. I walked all by myself down, then Grandpa carried me back...phew I was tired!

so we just walked :)

In the evening we went to the Inglands house for a picnic. We had a great time, but Mommy didn't take any pictures because she was pretty busy following me around :)

What a great weekend...we sure did enjoy our family and friends!
