standing...

...but just for a few seconds.

I can totally stand on my own..but I'm not too interested in doing it. Mommy and Daddy have to trick me into it...usually by giving me something to keep both of my hands busy. I'm such a pro at crawling that I don't show much interst in standing or walking yet...but here's a picture that Mommy caught of me while I was practicing:

My new highchair

Over the weekend, Mommy was cleaning my high chair and it completly fell apart! The 3 spindles came out of the top and the seat cracked right now the side. We knew that it was time to get a new high chair! Mommy and Daddy say that God cares about even the littlest things! We got just the highchair that we wanted for such a great price! God always provides for us..just what we need. Mommy really wanted a wooden high chair that would look nice by our table since our table sits in the living room. We found an Eddie Bauer high chair on craigslist for just $40. It sells for $130 in the stores...so that was a great deal! We were so excited to find one that matched our table just right and is nice and safe for me. I love it! Here's a picture of me eating dinner in it tonight. I was enjoying Mommy's potato soup and rolls...."Mmmmm".

pretty hair

One of my favorite things to do is go in my room and play in the baskets at the bottom of my changing table. My favorite basket has my comb, binkis, and hair bows in it. I love to take everything out and put it back in again. Today mom caught a picture of my combing my own hair :o) I'm really concentrating!

Congrats to Kiran & Sweta

Our friend Kiran at church went home to India for a visit in December. When he came back...he returned with a wife! We are so excited to have Sweta here as a part of our church family. On Sunday we had a reception for them. I loved talking to Sweta and playing with her bangles.
not the best picture...but at least you can see the beautiful cake that Ms. Jolene made!

Our Saturday

Today Mommy had some friends over to make Valentines Day cards. I welcomed everyone and went down for my morning nap while they worked. When I woke up they were STILL making cards. So Mommy gave me a yummy banana cookie and cheerios. I watched while they all worked. I can't wait until I can make cards too!
I don't think Darlene is going to be too happy about me posting this pic...but as you can see we had a great time with good talks and laughter! Don't you LOVE the card she made?!
Karen made some great ones too!
After the girls left we had lunch with Daddy...Mommy and I both love it when he's home! I was kinda fussy about eating...but then Mommy gave me a piece of toast. I made a mess...but Mmmmm....it was good!
When Mommy was cleaning my highchair...she realized that it is totally falling apart! I guess Daddy and my Uncles were all it could handle! So we are on the lookout for a new high chair. Only problem is they make them SO big and bulky now...we hope to find another nice, small wooden one...we shall see! Mommy looked on craigslist for a while..then we decided to take advantage of the warmer weather and head out for a walk. The sidewalks were wet...but it sure was nice to get some fresh air after being inside all winter! Here's a pic of me all bundled up! Thanks to Mrs. Mikel for the adorable coat and Mrs. Stanely for the warm stroller blanket!

Baby Time at the library

Yesterday Mommy and I went to the Farmington library for Baby time...we loved it! We had so much fun playing, singing, & reading. There were a lot more babies at this story time...so that was fun. After the songs and stories we had time to play with lots of friends and lots of toys. Here are a few shots Mommy got:

yeah for new toys!

after the library we went to visit Daddy at work...then he took us to Wendy's for lunch. What a fun day!
