Baby Dedication

Sunday was Isaac's baby dedication day. It was a special day for us, our family, and church family. We are blessed to be a part of such a wonderful body of believers. We know that they will encourage us and support us as we raise our children, Isaac and Hannah. We are thankful for Pastor Marian and his support and encouragement. What a great day to pledge ourselves to the Lord...to strive to raise Isaac (and Hannah too) in Him.
Marian read Numbers 6:24-26 as a prayer for the children
"The Lord bless you and keep you (Isaac)
The Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you (Isaac)
The Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace (Isaac)."
We pray the same thing for our precious baby boy!

it was special to share the day with our dear friends, Craig and Juila, and their sweet children.

We were also blessed to share the day with family
Nana and Papa

Gran and Pa (Gran made Isaac's adorable dedication suit)
and doll to match
and Seth's parents....Mom and Dad F.
what a special day!

Tummy Time!

Hannah loves to help Isaac get excited about tummy time! She gets right down on her tummy with him. It gives him a smiling face to look at...he already loves his sister
she encourages him to keep his chin up
now look at Mommy and smile! :)
I love my days at home with my two little sweeties!

Christmas Coutdown

Hannah and I are having a great time counting down our way to Christmas. We got this great idea from Hubbards Cupboard (where we get most of our "toddler school" ideas/activities). She has a whole list of advent/Christmas activities that you can do with your toddler here and you can click here to get the link for making the same Christmas Advent Countdown chain that Hannah and I made together.
She hasn't had a lot of practice with the glue stick and is already a pro

Each day we have a Bible verse, passage, and activity to reinforce the meaning of the season. This has been so good for my focus too!

she had fun creating an ABAB pattern with the colors
One very excited toddler ready to count down to Christmas day!

Up goes the tree!

Seth always has the job of getting the tree up. We got home from our wonderful Thanksgiving trip and the next day he helped me put away all the fall decorations, dust, and pull out the tree. Hannah had fun (while she was interested) helping Seth pull the branches out. She loved watching the tree come together!

Isaac @ 11 weeks

I think he grows more handsome every week! I enjoyed taking these pics with my sister-in-laws DSLR. I'm just about done researching and ready to make the splurge and buy my own...excited about the cyber week sales I've found..can't wait! Enjoy the pics of our sweet little boy!

More Thanksgiving!

Saturday morning, poor Hannah woke up with the stomach flu for the first time. It was nice to have Grandma and Papa there to help take care of her and to help me through my first flu experience (something I've always dreaded). Hannah was feeling much better by morning and played around the house.
She got to feed Eli his breakfast, and did a great job...he loved getting his breakfast from Hannah.

Hannah did good all day and didn't have a fever, so in the evening...we were all off to Gran and Pa's for Thanksgiving dinner. When we got there...Pa and Canon were busy carving the turkey...yum!

Gran gave Isaac the OSU quilt that she made for him (I have a pic of Seth smiling with it...but this one wasn't as blurry)

Happy Thanksgiving!!
We have so much to be Thankful for! This year, we are very thankful for the newest addition to our family...little Isaac. We are thankful for the healthy pregnancy, smooth delivery, and our healthy/adorable/super happy baby boy! We are especially thankful for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and for the gift of salvation. We are in awe of His love for us and thankful that we can have a relationship with Him. Hannah's verse for this thanksgiving sums it up:
Psalm 136:1
"Give Thanks to the Lord, for He is good, His love endures forever."
Thankful for a Lord that loves us with an everlasting and unconditional love!
