Wonderful Neighbors

This afternoon, as I was the midst of making dinner, caring for my toddler (who is very hungry for attention these days :)) and infant- I looked up at the front door to see my neighbor Lily's smiling face. I went to greet her and she asked if Hannah could go for a wagon ride with her sweet little boy. She came at just the right time! I quickly got her shoes and coat on her and they were off..what a blessing! She knew just what I needed and at just the right time! By the time they got back, dinner prep was done and the house was picked up! I'm so thankful for wonderful neighbors!

Baby snuggles

I love newborn snuggles! And...can I just say I love my moby wrap? While Hannah took her nap today, Isaac snuggled with me in the moby while I got some things done around the house...this was my view. I'm soaking in all of these precious moments, trying to enjoy each one because I know they go by so quickly! What a gift!

A Fall Walk

Hannah and I have been reading fall books and talking about fall/autumn this week. Today we went for a fall walk to find signs of fall.

Isaac rode in the stroller and she ran most of the way...so excited!
She found leaves of all different colors and sizes...

acorns and helicopter seeds.
We both loved this beautiful red tree. I asked her if I could get her picture by it and she came up with this pose idea herself...I'm so glad she did! We will be framing these for sure!

Isaac: one month

Isaac is a month old today! He is such a sweet baby..so cuddly and such a good disposition (thank you, Lord!). We've been learning all about him and getting to know him this month. Here are a few of his "likes" that we've learned so far:

-being swaddled (arms out)

-a warm bath

-riding in the moby wrap

-his binki

-seeing his mommy in the middle of the night :)

-and lots of snuggles!

Isaac @ 4 weeks

and as to not forget about big sis...here's Hannah today at the park. She danced/flew her way around the walking path, loved watching the ducks (we took bread to feed them, but decided to obey the "don't feed the wildlife sign"), and playing on the playground. This girl loves life and has SO much energy!

The perfect fall family day

Last Friday was a beautiful fall day! We took the few hours that we had in between Isaac's feedings and headed to the pumpkin farm. Hannah enjoyed playing in the kiddie area while we enjoyed the fresh air and watching her explore. She had fun feeding the animals, milking a cow (pretend this time), and we ended our morning with a snack of delicious cider and donuts. Isaac did great and loved riding in his moby wrap.
