My little AWANA grads

Can't believe my little girl is graduating from Cubbies.

This is Hannah on her first night of Cubbies when she was 3!

   

Here she is after completing her first year and her first day of Cubbies this year (which was also her first day at our new church)  

This year she was blessed to have Ms. Kim as her Cubbies director and Ms. Christy as a teacher.  She loves both of them which made Cubbies extra fun.  Here she is receiving her second book award from Ms. Kim.  

 So excited about her accomplishments!  

 Isaac got to be a little Puggle this year.  He was able to hear a Bible story each week, which I was so thankful for...he loved it!  Here is in in his new Puggles hat, which he loves!  

Next year, Hannah moves on to be a Sparky...she's SO SO excited!  Since she turned 5 in March she has been asking when she can go to Sparks.  Isaac will move onto Cubbies in the fall,  Hannah is super excited to share her vest and help him out.  Love seeing my kids hide God's Word in their hearts!  

A Birthday Weekend With Friends

We feel very blessed that our dear friends from Michigan came to visit for a weekend this spring.  Even better?  It was Jeff's birthday weekend...we had so much fun watching the kids play, catching up on conversation, and celebrating Jeff's birthday!  

He wanted chocolate cake...we were all glad :)

Some Springtime Fun

We are having so much fun exploring a new area and finding fun things to do together.  Beth and I took the kids to Snow White....they all loved it.

 Hannah got to meet Snow White in person and was able to learn some acting tips after the show.  She has been practicing some of the dance steps, etc. for weeks afterwards.  

 Another adventure with Aunt Beth and their cousins was a trip to the library to read to therapy dogs.  The kids loved it...and I think the dogs did too. :)

 We have never had ice cream at a place like the Sweet Frog ice cream shop.  Some friends from church invited us to join them.  You can choose your yogurt flavor and even make combinations then choose your toppings and pay per ounce.  Better yet, it's a christian owned business   We had so much ufn.  Here is Hannah with her cotton candy flavored ice cream.

Children's Museum Fun!

The children's museum offers free admission on the 1st Monday of the month.  This made for a fun family day for our family last month.  The place was packed...but we still had a really good time. 

As we were driving through downtown, we showed the kids the city bus that my dad has rode to work for years.  It was neat to get to the museum and see a mini model of the same bus.  The kids were excited to take a picture to show to Pop.

My 5 year old Gracie Girl

Can't believe it!  5 years old was big deal for me.  I feel like this is a big birthday...can't believe how fast my baby girl is growing up.  She bring so much joy to our lives.  Hannah is loves all things girlie.  We have fun doing our hair, painting nails, doing crafts, shopping, reading Bible stories, and doing homeschool preschool together.

Hannah loves her electronics.  She is always asking to play the computer, ipod, leapster, or watch tv.  We try to limis this time so that she can use her imagination...but these are some of her favorites.  She is an AMAZING reader!   She will sit and read for hours and can read just about anything you put in front of her. She loves to read to Isaac and has been reading our bedtime Bible stories.  She is learning addition and subtraction and loves to write.  She is really into games right now.  She would love it if we could have family game night every night.  Some of her favorites are:  Candy Land, Strawberry Shortcake, UNO attack, Guess Who, and The Lady Bug Game.  She loves God's Word and absorbs it like a little sponge.  She can't wait to be at Sparky in AWANA. :)  What a blessing she is to our lives!  We thank God everyday for our Hannah Grace!
